The "Loser Panorama Cable Car" project marked a milestone for the Altaussee ski area. In a construction period of only four months, we realized the entire electrical infrastructure for the new 10-seater gondola lift. From low-voltage distribution and emergency lighting to integrated photovoltaic systems on the facades – we ensured the safe and sustainable operation of the system at altitudes of up to 1,600 meters.
The "Loser Panorama Cable Car" project involves the new construction of a 10-seater gondola lift with 76 barrier-free accessible gondolas, replacing the existing "Loser-Jet" 6-seater chairlift and the "Loser 2" double chairlift. The new lift significantly improves capacity and comfort in the Loser Altaussee ski area.
The valley station at 859 m includes not only the cable car technology but also ticket office areas, a toilet facility, a first aid room, as well as storage, crew, and technical rooms. The intermediate station at 1,402 m houses a station building for garaging the gondolas and efficiently uses the facade surface for a photovoltaic system. In addition, a workshop for slope groomers and a storage area for snow cannons were created here.
The mountain station at 1,610 m also offers operating rooms as well as a toilet facility and a first aid room. Here too, the facade surface is used for a photovoltaic system, underlining the sustainable approach of the project.
With an extremely short construction period of only four months and a contract value of around 1.39 million euros, the project was successfully completed and now makes an important contribution to the sustainable development of the ski area.
